It is the first full week of 2021 and I am curious as to how you are choosing to respond to the new year? Have you set some goals for 2021? Or are you continuing on with how you responded to 2020?
Which, how did you respond to 2020? I have heard people complain about how others are sharing what they learned and how they grew in 2020. Or the social media posts that say: “Heck yeah! I got to accomplish this in 2020!”
What about those posts are about you?
A situation is that you make of it. Yes, life can certainly be messy. Life most definitely throws curveballs. That’s what life does. Life is not a simple straight line. It is full of ups, downs, potholes, hills, curves, and so on. How else do you live if there is no learning?
You can choose how to respond to all that life has. Are you continuing into the New Year with the response that you had to the previous year? What is the purpose staying the same, mentally?
“Change is the only constant.”Heraclitus (Greek Philosopher)
The only constant in life is that life changes. What we can control is how we respond to those changes.
Are you choosing to go forward with intention? Are you choosing to create your life or are you allowing things to create your life for you?
I have an amazing Coach and Mentor that say choice is a powerful thing, suffering is optional. And it is. You make the choice to move forward, to dictate the direction you want to go.
The reality of the world has come to acknowledge technology. We are in a virtual world of connection. Corporations have finally caught up (even though I hear several that want to go backwards). People are leading in virtual worlds.
How are you leading in the virtual world? How are you communicating in the virtual world? Are you a leader struggling to connect and lead virtually?
Have you left one arena and are ready to take the next step in your life, in your business? To become the leader of your own domain? To be that entrepreneur?
Choose how you want to go forward. Become a more authentic leader. Become a more effective communicator. Whether virtual or in person, you absolutely can lead and effectively communicate with others.
If you would like to know more about how to lead and communicate effectively, send me a message. You can connect with me through my website, via Facebook, on LinkedIn, and with an email.
What is the purpose of not being an effective leader and communicator?
I choose to move forward with intention and purpose. Driving that purpose is my mission for authentic leadership and effective communication. I love to inspire, motivate, and empower others. I love to help facilitate effective leadership. And what is effective leadership without effective communication?
When you choose how you move forward, you become empowered by your choices.
